Learn more Donate NowIn 1991-92, educated young individuals formed Prachi Youth Social Organisation (PYSO) to make a positive impact in their community. Initially working unsystematically, their genuine efforts quickly gained local support. Motivated by this response, they expanded their activities for greater visibility and acceptance. To formalize their work, PYSO was registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act of XXI). Later, to secure overseas funding, the organisation also registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (FCRA 1976).
Since 2002, Prachi Youth Social Organisation (PYSO) has been running an innovative school in Kakatpur, aiming to provide quality, value-based education to underprivileged children. Over 250 students are enrolled, receiving disciplined and quality education from trained teachers. To attract students, joyful teaching methods are used. The school currently educates children up to the 5th standard. Various techniques are adopted to shape these children as the future of our country, emphasizing character building and good health through yoga classes. PYSO is committed to making a lasting impact by running this school and shaping young minds.
